The 100% pure juice is made from Unshu mikan mandarin oranges grown with special care. Fujikawa orchard is located in Kanonji City in Kagawa Prefecture. Surrounded by the Seto Inland Sea and the Sanuki Mountains, the orchard is blessed with a warm climate and vast nature suited for growing citrus fruits.
The use of specially blended organic fertilizers and application of fish emulsion and seaweed extract to the leaves boost the level of amino acid in the fruit, resulting in citrus fruits that are tasty, sweet with rich flavors.
This pure mikan juice was born from the idea to deliver the delicious flavors of fresh mandarin oranges throughout the year. Fujikawa is one of the few companies in Japan that uses an inline juice extractor, which only extracts juice from the interior of the fruit, resulting in mikan juice with a smooth rich texture without a bitter, astringent taste of the peel.
The fresh juice is a real straight juice, not from concentrate. It does not contain any additives and lets you enjoy the rich aroma and natural flavor of the mikan mandarin oranges. Best served cold, but can be also enjoyed at room temperature or microwaved.
