“4w1h Hot Sand Solo” lets you make a hot sandwich with ingredients of your choice and just one slice of bread. Most hot sandwich makers use two slices of bread with ingredients placed in between. Under the concept “the right size for breakfast,” this product was developed in response to a request for a sandwich maker for one piece of bread as you may not be hungry enough to eat two slices when you wake up from sleep.
Launched in 2017 in Tsubame Sanjo area in Niigata Prefecture, Tsubamesanjo Kitchen Laboratory is a team comprised of creators and a metalworking manufacturer that produces cooking gadgets under the “4w1h (“Why, When, Who, What, How” in Kitchen)” series. This hot sandwich maker is the first item of the series.
The beautifully crimped edges of the sandwich are crunchy, giving a great contrast to the fluffy, moist and hot center. Ingredients are pressed all together tightly so you can eat it with one hand without the risk of spillage and getting messy.
The two grill pans come in black and silver, respectively, to make sure you don’t forget to grill the both sides.
