The 100% mikan juice is squeezed directly from mandarin oranges harvested in Mihama town in Mie Prefecture, known as the town where different varieties of mikan oranges are available throughout the seasons thanks to its warm climate and well-drained soil. The juice is a blend of pressed mikan oranges of different flavors, which were carefully selected by the owner of the orchard after tasting one by one. In addition, in order to reproduce the taste of the fresh fruit, the flesh of sweet and fragrant ripe mikan oranges as well as freshly picked ones are also blended. The “Koime” version is made with the best mikan oranges of the year, resulting in an even richer flavor and a deep orange color. “Amanatsu” juice is made by pressing Amanatsu mikan oranges ripened on the trees.
