The box comes with selected local delicacies from each prefecture in Japan. As travelling is limited due to the Covid-19 crisis, the company sought to offer the many wonderful delicacies and gourmet dishes from prefectures across Japan for many customers including those who haven’t been able to return home so that they can savor the taste of home.
The assortment includes regional specialties that can be also found in prefecture specialties shops (referred to as “antenna shops” in Japan), such as sweets, noodles, canned foods, ready-to-eat curry, drinks, seasonings, and other foods that can be preserved.
Currently, set of specialty products from 17 prefectures can be purchased, each available in S and L sizes. Depending on the prefecture, the S size contains 8 to 11 items and 14 to 19 items in the L size. The company plans to release respective sets from all 47 prefectures in the future.
The wide selection of local specialties such as branded beef, seafood, fruits and sweets from all over Japan which the company offers has been receiving many positive reviews and appreciated as a wonderful gift.
