The hot spring water gushes 600 liters per minute from 2,000 meters underground and contains abundant sodium chloride and bicarbonate, which is renowned for several benefits such as loosening dead skin cells to make your skin feel silky smooth while retaining moisture. The water quality is thus known as one of Japan’s top three hot springs for beautiful skin. Of particular note is its high content of metasilicic acid, the key element for beautiful skin, which is 77 g per liter. The water is also called “moor hot springs” that contains accumulated organic substances of plant origin since ancient times. The mineral-rich water has plenty of plant-derived fulvic acid and humic acid, which give off the distinctive color like chocolate, offering several benefits to the body.
