Wallets normally become bulky when coins and cards stored overlap each other. With this in mind, the wallet employs a unique “Hitoe® (single) structure” that lets you store coins and card without overlapping to achieve exceptional thinness compared with conventional wallets. The thickest part of the wallet is only 7mm-thin when three cards are stored. It is also very compact and super light—only 89 mm x 89 mm in size and about 29 g—which you almost forget that it’s in your pocket. The precise and intricate stitching as well as the edges of the leather that are cut and carefully polished, which are then finely lined with a heated iron, all ensure quality to the finest detail. All leather parts are bonded together using a glue adhesive with full surface bonding technique, which is said to be the most luxurious for leather products as it requires experiences and high skills. Two thin leather pieces are pasted together to create a stronger, lighter and thinner leather. In addition, the seam allowance is kept to minimum to prevent the wallet from losing its shape. The wallet is made without using any metal parts and there are only four sewing lines, while the corners and folded parts that are prone to damage are layered with leather to enhance durability.
