GINZA Series
JIKKO Incorporated (Osaka)
Produced through traditional Japanese manufacturing process by JIKKO Incorporated, a Japanese knife maker established in 1901 in Sakai, Osaka prefecture, the GINZA series knives have blades dyed in black using state-of-the-art technology.
These knives were initially developed at the request of a chef in Ginza, Tokyo for a special and unique knife that cannot be found anywhere else. Each knife is carefully forged and sharpened by skilled blacksmiths with a traditional technique in Sakai that boasts 600 years of knife making history. What makes the knives even more special is the blade dyed in black. A fusion of tradition and modernity has made it possible to produce a knife that is excellent in both aesthetic and practical utility, which conveys the hope of the company to encourage chefs to cook delicious food with its beautiful knives while entertaining the customers with their culinary skills.
