NPO South Alps Farm Field Trip (Yamanashi)

Inspired by the four seasons in Japan, this product series is like an herbarium with flower petals and fruits floating in transparent jelly made with fruit-derived pectin, all captured in a small glass jar. Although there are various jams containing flower petals, what makes this product particularly unique is that it can be also used as a topping for other desserts or to add flavors to your tea while letting you feel the beautiful seasons of Japan.
The peach petal jam—spring is expressed with the peach petals suspended in the jam. At first taste, you can enjoy a subtle peach aroma, which makes a beautiful flavored tea with floating flower petals.
Osmanthus petal jam—the Osmanthus is a tree that represents autumn. For many Japanese people, its bright orange flower petals and the distinct scent mean the arrival of autumn. It also somehow evokes an image of goldfish in an aquarium, which makes the jam pleasant to look at.
Gold leaf yuzu tea—a fragrant citrus fruit unique to Japan, yuzu is an indispensable ingredient for Japanese winter dishes. Sprinkled with some shimmering edible gold leaf that express the dance of the powdered snow, it imparts a sense of Japanese elegance.
