Produced by a soy sauce and miso manufacturer founded in 1929, Japanese Gelato was brought to life to offer Japan’s excellent traditional fermented food culture in a form of a familiar sweet so that more people can enjoy it. It is also imbued with the manufacturer’s hope of conveying the infinite possibilities of fermented seasonings. While gelato is a popular Italian dessert, by adding milk and fermented seasonings produced in Japan to it, a new gelato with a hint of Japanese flavors was born. The package featuring traditional patterns also exude a unique Japanese feel.
