Fream Japan Co., Ltd. (Aichi)
In the belief that the simpler a product, the easier it is to use, the company sought to create thin and small, the simplest wallet possible. The wallet is made using the unique “Japanese Essence Leather,” which was developed and named by the company. Characterized by the distinctive Japanese traditional colors, the company has spared no expense on faithfully reproducing these colors to create these premium, dyed and tanned leathers. The wallets come available in various traditional Japanese colors. Among them are “Ai-iro,” or indigo, which became a typical color worn by the commoners during the Edo Period when social hierarchy were determined by certain colors; “Uguisu-iro” likened to a Japanese bush warbler which was a popular bird to have as a pet during the Edo Period; and “Kurenainoyashio,” which was a “kinjiki,” or a forbidden color, strictly reserved for luxury items during the Nara Period.
Our products are genuinely made in Japan, everything from leather production to wallet production. The wallets are created with meticulous attention to every detail including storage capacity, thinness and durability while also ensuring a smooth flow for the users. Designed in pursuit of the ultimate simplicity, elements have been reduced as much as possible to leave only the minimum.
