Choukoku Glass Series (Engraved Glassware)

Taburo Kobo (Tokyo)

Inspired by a bygone era and memorable moments in nature, the glassware is engraved with dreamy patterns that create a relaxing ambience in daily life. The style was born by applying various glass art techniques produced by Émile Charles Martin Gallé and other celebrated glassware designers in the Art Nouveau movement that flourished in France from about 1870 to 1930.
