Development of this eco bag reminiscent of a small stone as its name “Pebble” suggests was initiated by a designer who felt strange seeing the use of plastic bags in Japan upon returning from the UK. Based on various opinions about eco bags such as “I always forget to carry an eco bag,” “I don’t like their designs,” and “I’d rather want a plastic bag,” KoH T was inspired to offer a solution while also conveying their message to the world. After 13 months of trial and error, the Pebble eco bag that can be taken out in one motion and stored in a case without having to fold it was finally brough to life. Designed based on the plastic bags most used in convenience stores, the bag comes in a size that is convenient but “can be easily forgotten.” It offers an excellent portability as in addition to the carabiner that allows you to attach it to bags and clothes, its sleek design makes you want to carry it around and share with others. The underlying idea is to deliver products that are not just a tool but also a sustainable option while allowing people to enjoy fashion. But above all, the company hopes that the product can serve as a great conversation starter and help people change their awareness and think what they can do to be part of the solution.
