Locomotive syndrome, which is a medical condition of reduced mobility due to disorders of locomotive organs, is one of the challenges facing Japan’s modern society today. Also, the number of young people suffering from arch problems is also increasing. Just by walking in these shoes, improvement in the strength of the lower limb and trunk muscles can be expected, which is closely associated with gait performance. In developing this product, we analyzed the effects that its functions and characteristics have on health itself. The results showed that the shape and the structure of the product facilitate the entire gait cycle during walking, from the heel strike, smooth transition of weight to landing on your foot, with minimal strain on the heels. In addition, it was proved that the shoe’s structure can also help stretch the soles while also offering healing effects after exercise. This product has been developed in hope to make meaningful contributions to society and people’s lives by delivering slippers to more people as a daily necessity for maintaining good health.
