J.air aspires to create air so refreshing, it feels as if taking a deep breath in the forest. With no filter or fan, the innovative product uses proprietary ion electrodes to generate large volumes of highly concentrated negative ions to produce air that actively captures airborne dust particles, bacteria and odorous substances. Unlike conventional air purifiers which draws in and cleans the air of impurities, j.air acts as a “space purifier” by enabling high-level sterilization, dust removal and deodorization. Each unit of j.air is manufactured and assembled in Japan by hand, with the exterior metal processing in Tsubame city, Niigata Prefecture, and the wooden exterior produced in Asahikawa city, Hokkaido Prefecture. The “j” in j.air stands for Japan, named with the hopes to clean the air around the world with this Japanese innovation, with the slogan “Making the World of Vivid Air.”
