Murato Classic series has been brought to life by revising the shapes of the Western-style knives in pursuit of “superior sharpness” and “ease of use” through the artistry of Japanese craftsmanship of Tsubame-Sanjo. Each blade is sharpened and honed carefully by hand to achieve thin and smooth edge for superb sharpness. It reduces the resistance when cutting into food so that you can get a beautiful cross-section that enhances the flavor of the food. VG-10, a high-end steel with extreme hardness, is employed as the material for the blade to achieve excellent hardness and thin, sharp edge. In addition, the handle made of laminated reinforced wood is water-resistance, durable and fits comfortably in the hand, allowing you to easily cut food. Hand-polished by craftsmen, the seamless design offers a nice grip.
