The town of Eiheiji in Fukui Prefecture is home to one of the two head temples of the Soto Sect of Zen Buddhism. Located in such a historical city rich in nature surrounded by Hakusan mountain range set against the Kuzuryu River that flows through the town, COZY COFFEE roastery offers coffee made with carefully selected beans. “Shojin” coffee is perfect for those who are stressed out and feel tired as it gives you an escape from the everyday life and lets you free your mind so that you can focus on the present moment. “Kiyome” is decaffeinated coffee suited for those who must avoid caffeine or is sensitive to caffeine and has difficulty falling asleep after drinking but still want to enjoy coffee’s natural aroma and richness. Meticulously roasted in a place known as the hometown of Soto Zen where Eiheiji Temple was founded by Zen master Dogen in 1244, this coffee series is not only tasty but will also help you relax and feel at ease.
