MILLU CERAMIC MILL SERIES
KAWASAKI PLASTICS CO., LTD. (Niigata)
Produced by a company boasting 80-year history in Tsubame City in Niigata Prefecture globally known for metal processing, the purely Japan-made coffee mill series uses a ceramic blade made through metal processing and resin molding technologies. The body features beautiful Japanese designs such as Tsuchime pattern (hammered finish) and shapes for easy gripping while employing a ceramic blade that can grind without impacting the original flavors of the coffee. Some of the advantages of a ceramic blade are that it does not transfer a metallic taste or smell as well as being wear-resistant so the cutting lasts longer. It is also rust-proof and can be removed and washed with water. In addition to producing molded resin products, the company has also developed various products by integrating ceramic parts and metal processing technology. By selecting the right materials for the right purpose, the company fuses them together to bring about new values that cannot be achieved by the material/technology alone. They are also committed to develop products made using plant-derived plastic resin as part of their actions against global warming as well as effort to produce more eco-friendly products towards a greener future. Everything from mold design to final product inspection is carried out by the company to assure its customers the maximum in product quality.
