Marushin Makoto Series

TADOKORO CUTLERY (Kochi)

While most of the Japanese knives are being mass-produced using machines in the manufacturing process, Marushin Japanese knives are meticulously made one by one by the hand of skilled craftspeople who can be rarely found nowadays. Marushin knives are characterized by their blades of excellent sharpness that lasts longer while enabling easy maintenance at home, which makes it stress-free not only for chefs but also for home users. The carefully crafted Japanese knives are an excellent cooking tool that, with proper care, can last lifetime and handed down from generation to generation. Made to be used for a long time, the Marushin knife series is designed with the user in mind. The manufacturer not only focused on the exquisite sharpness and simple maintenance but also on making the handle smooth so as to prevent fatigue even after extended use. Japanese traditional “furoshiki” wrapping cloth is used for the package based on the image of Japanese kimono.
