LALAHONEY is a cosmetic brand born in the rich nature of Toyama Prefecture. The brand name comes from the “la-la” humming tune and the company’s hope to evoke a tender feeling like “honey.” The logo mark is inspired by Shomyo Waterfalls located in Tateyama Mountain in Toyama known to have the largest drop in Japan. Made with natural ingredients nurtured in Toyama such as the clear waters of the Joganji River fed by the snow melt in the beautiful mountains, locally collected honey and deep-sea water from Toyama Bay, these items lead to a clear and smooth skin. The company owner was making soaps with cold press method to use privately and that was the start of LALAHONEY. The use of synthetic materials is minimized as much as possible and the simple prescription is employed to deliver products that offer benefits to the skin. Because the soaps are made without applying any external heat and left to slowly age and dry, the oil content does not deteriorate glycerin, which is a by-product during the soap-making process, is retained entirely in the soap. Glycerin is an excellent humectant that draws moisture into the outer layer of the skin to keep it hydrated. Cold process soaps have an amazing texture that cannot be achieved with soaps made with other production methods.
