HITOE Fold employs a unique construction that lets you store coins and card without overlapping to achieve exceptional thinness compared with conventional wallets. Even though the wallet is only about 6-7mm thick as only four layers of leather overlap each other, it can hold 10 bills, 15 coins and 6 cards. Still, the wallet is amazingly thin.

Use of thick leather
It is not difficult to produce a thin wallet if you skive the leather and make it thinner. However, it would lower durability while impairing leather’s unique texture. Therefore, the company has strived to produce a thin wallet while retaining the thickness of the leather. For the exterior, Genatsu leather with a thickness of about 2mm is used to retain the original charm of the leather.
