Inden is a traditional Japanese craft in which deerskin leather is decorated with lacquer patterns using stencils. Skilled artisans carefully select and inspect every aspect of the leather, from quality to grain, to make the best use of the distinctive deerskin texture. By applying lacquer to this deerskin, Inden leather becomes even more durable and brings out a beautiful luster. The long wallet we introduce here utilizes colored lacquer, our specialty, and is designed under the theme of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, with a gold zipper, Ichimatsu checkered pattern (the pattern used in the Tokyo Olympics logo) and in the five Olympic symbol colors.
