SOLADEY is Japan’s first toothbrush series developed by applying patented technology, which is scientifically proven to remove plaque with only light and water. Equipped with a TiO2 (titanium dioxide) semiconductor and a solar panel, SOLADEY RHYTHM2 is an electric toothbrush with two sonic vibration modes that takes a scientific approach to clean your mouth through a unique patented technology. The built-in HOTARU lamp lets you see how the unique technology works while brushing your teeth. When developing SOLADEY RHYTHM2 model, we focused on removing plaque effectively with only water and light. Photocatalytic technology allows stain removal by creating a reaction to water and light. It has been confirmed that brushing more than 50 times prevents bacteria from adhering to the teeth. In addition, the weight has been reduced to approximately 55g, letting you experience a new advanced oral care easily. Unlike the strong vibration peculiar to regular electric toothbrushes, the gentle sonic vibration and the compact brush head facilitate the cleaning of hard-to-reach areas of the mouth. The replacement brush heads are not only antibacterial, hygienic and excellent in physically removing plaque but are also cost savers as they are available for JPY1,200 for a package of four brush heads (JPY300 per piece).
