QINUDE is a natural silk skin care brand that uses valuable domestic raw silk as its primary material. It is the same ingredient that is also used to make kimono for the traditional Kyo-yuzen store Chiso, established in 1555. Raw silk eliminated in the process of Chiso kimono production is hydrolyzed to extract an element called silk fibroin, which is used in all products. This brand was created as a part of silk revival project, which was established to support the Japanese sericulture and the kimono industries, with the aim to find ways to support Japanese silk through other means other than purchasing kimono.
