Takaoka copperware boasts more than 400 years of history and its craftsmen are incredibly skilled. The urn is made sturdy and designed in a shape that prevents it from falling. It also has an elaborate twist-off cover so that the ashes are protected even if the urn falls. In addition, both the outside and inside of the urn is treated manually by craftsmen using a technique where metallic materials are oxidized to create unique colors.
