Each traditional Japanese wooden sandal, or geta, is carefully hand made in Hita City by local craftsmen using the Hita Sugi (cypress) tree. Five pieces of this highly flexible, yet durable wood are layered, resulting in very light footwear that bends with the soles of your feet when walking.
