Betula Schmidtii Shoe Horn

Art Forme Co., Ltd. (Akita)

Using Kamaorekanba, the hardest wood in Japan, Hiroyuki Hashino has created a shoe horn and shoe stand set that is not only practical but visually appealing. Kamaorekanba is so solid that it is said that it can even break an axe, so it is very difficult to work with. The strength and durability of the wood, however, enabled us to create a strong shoe horn that stands tall enough to be used while standing. Featuring a beautiful curve, the set is practical, durable, and beautiful – all in one.
