Omoino Frying Pan
Omoino Frying Pan was launched in December 2017, after 10 years of conceptualization, followed by three years of trials. While most cast iron products in the market are finished with a coating, the coating actually diminishes the heat conductivity, an advantage of cast iron. In order to fully appreciate the merit of cast iron, the company successfully produced a non-coated product. It leverages its technological capability that is often praised as likening “beautiful skin.” Coating on many cooking utensils is there to prevent rusting and charring and also for an attractive appearance, but many don’t realize it hinders heat conductivity.
In addition, the coating gets scratched or flakes off after a few years, creating damage that leads to rusting and eventually makes it unusable. Furthermore, the coating material itself may include toxic substances. Omoino Frying Pan, on the other hand, is a cooking utensil manufactured with concern for what is consumed by its user. That is why it is finished with absolutely no coating materials to prioritize safety and peace of mind. The uncoated pan can be used for years to come with simple care, without worry that the coating will wear off.
