Made with yama wasabi, cheese and white wine, all from local sources in the Tokachi region of Hokkaido, Wa Cheese is a new take on traditional Japanese cheese. Each item is carefully made by our chef in Tokachi, using yama wasabi. Although it has more of a punch than traditional wasabi, yama wasabi’s freshness and flavor are difficult to maintain. Using a special refrigeration process, we are able to achieve the freshly grated flavor every time. A wonderful souvenir that blends Japanese taste and western appeal.
