Using Kyoto’s traditional bamboo craft, rising artisans created a series of contemporary jewelry to translate tradition into modern fashion. The work is structured so that one craftsman handles the entire creative process, from cutting of the bamboo material to the final finishing stages, using no machinery during the entire process. Infused with the handcrafted warmth of Japanese beauty, these pieces of jewelry emanate distinct uniqueness against a backdrop of everyday occasions.
